Lew's mod does resync signatures.

The mod didn't work for me but you'll probably have better luck than I.

I believe sven had difficulty getting it to work on the sigs as well... and if Acyd B did grab the script for area51, it didn't work on the sigs there either, but after AB visited here, the posts (texts) started working on area51...

My script resynchronizes everything that have BBCode. Acyd Burn's script resynchronizes posts, signatures and personal messages.
