Icon update

Here you go, higher quality and without the lines: forum icons and topic icons.

I also threw in a new "announcement" icon. See if you prefer it to the "i" one from before.

well? now it just looks like there's lines through it.
Are you going for a 3D style? IMO, the Lines in the Green don't work and make it look extremely flat and unappealing.
I think the icons is still a great idea, but I think it could look really awesome if they looked like Marbles? just a solid color, but looking like glass.

Pace, the "lines" I was referring to in our IM is the forabg class.
I?m sure it?s the same with Handyman... not so much the icons themselves, they look fine.
It?s just the background you are using on the forabg that is... how do I put it... :sick:

Ah, so he's speaking of the same lines as you?

Here are new forum icons anyway?

I'll try to see what I can find for the forabg. And I suppose it would also apply to the header as seen here?

Ah! those buttons look so much better.
And yes, I was also talking about forabg? it makes it look very 2D and I can't stand 2D looking pages, sorry.

Well, what I have so far is now online. I know, it's a phpBB2 converted board. But I've disabled posting everywhere save the "test board" ;)

Guys, what should I change to the style? Right now, I've changed:

  • the general appearance of the index page, plus forum icons
  • the general appearance of the "viewforum" page, plus topic icons

I'd like to know what you guys feel should be changed too: right now, everything else is "standard prosilver" ("new topic"/"post reply" buttons, the appearance of "viewtopic", ?).

Oh, and if you prefer the standard prosilver look for the other parts, do tell me.

Well, if you changed the general appearance of the index page and you changed the general appearance of the viewforum page....

The only thing left would be to change the general appearance of the viewtopic page. (if you want to change the appearance of the style completely)
