MOD Description: This MOD will add a contact form to your Board that, can be used to send messages to the administration. You can chose if the form should create a new post, send a private message or an email. You can also enable / disable the captcha feature.

Notes: DooBDee made an excellent phpBB2 contact form, wich i used, and really liked. I modified it to create a new post, and decided to include that as a default feature for my own phpBB3 version. I also made a captcha, to prevent spam. Hopefully you'll like it!

Which forum does it create the new post in?

Not a stupid question at all! That feature has not been completed yet, it's on the todo list in the first post. At the moment the MOD will only send emails

I really like the idea of it posting it to a forum. I had something simliar for BB2 and was going to port it over but looks like you're a step ahead of me ;-) I would say make the forum be an option with the ACP that the admin can set. that away an admin can set the forum so only admins can see it and then the contact form and post directly within there.

Man, this would be nice if it posted in one of the hidden Admin forums. Any admin could review the message.
Adding the function to post it in a different hidden forum that moderators could review would be cool also.

Have you seen that bbcode I was trying to create? That's what this reminded me of.
That would be even cooler because you could leave the message to the admin or moderator in the topic.
BTW, I haven't given up on that idea just yet.... READ MY SIG!

well all you really have to do is specify which forum ID it posts to then use permissions to configure that forum however you want it setup. It could then be admin only, admin and mods... whatever you feel like setting up. I think this would be another great MOD that could benefit from a insert post MOD

I already have the forum option on my todo list, i just need to figure that out, first (when i have time). This MOD will have it's own config page in the acp. What i really like about the forum posting solution (wich i made for the phpbb2 version), is that your staff can discuss the messages, and you can set custom permissions on who can view the messages.

BTW Sniper_E, what bbcode were you trying to create?
