Stand-alone scripts designed for a specific function, but not neccessarily part of normal forum browsing.

When posting a Script, please follow the following guidelines.

The topic containing the Script will also be the support topic for that Script.
The Script should also be included in the Scripts Database Topics under the appropriate category.

Subject lines must include [Script] or similiar.
Discussion topics regarding scripts should be precedded with [Discussion].
Subject lines must also include the latest version number update, followed by the Script name.
The topic which contains the main download for that Script must also be the support topic for that Script.
Don't start multiple topics for the same Script, or set of Scripts.
The Script author will be able to update the attachment using the edit post feature.

If you have any questions regarding the process, feel free to post a new topic asking a Scripterator how to follow the guidelines.




When posting a new Script, you may use the POLL function, use the following as a guideline:
I Loved It! (5 stars)
I Really Liked It! (4 stars)
I Liked It (3 stars)
I Didn't Like It (2 stars)
I Hated It (1 star)

Post Subject: [Script] [x.x.x] Script Name




Classification: Add-on / Improvement / BBCode / Styles
phpBB Part: Forum / UCP / MCP / ACP / Other

Script Name: title of Script
Script Version: x.x.x
Author: username and link to profile on STG (recommended) or phpBB
Script Description: Script description, be as explanetory as possible.

Works with:
  • phpBB 3.0 BETA1
  • Every CVS version between BETA1 and snapshot from 2006-xx-xx.

Features:
  • Feature 1
  • Feature 2
  • Feature 3...

Language: languages that are compatible with this Script

Licence: GNU General Public License v2

Screenshots: N/A / attached images

Installation Level: Easy / Medium / Hard
Installation Time: x Minutes
Format: MODx / MOD
Download File: attachment or better file on other server (attachments sometimes don't work)

Posting a MOD to the MOD Database thread:
When adding a MOD to the MOD Database Threads, please assign each MOD to the appropriate Category/Classification Topic, and use the below structure as a template.

When posting a MOD to the MOD Database thread, please limit one post per MOD, no discussions should be in the MOD Database thread, to keep it clean and orderly.
Again, if you would like to discuss a MOD, or have a question about that MOD, please ask in the support topic for that MOD.
If you have any questions regarding these guidelines, feel free to post a new topic and ask one of the Moderators.

The Classifications/Categories are as follows:

  1. Add-on
  2. Improvement
  3. BBCode
  4. Styles




Moderators:

The MOD Database thread when containing a link to download the file, should link to the post id, and not the download attachment.
MODs should be attachments ONLY, and NOT links to outside sources, or direct links to sources within the forum.
