General Question

Well, since I'm back and I've got some plot writing ahead of me for this game, let me ask...

1. Do you want to see a series of small but exclusive storylines for the other major powers in the Trek universe? It'd be done so you can only do one per character... and they won't be nearly as involved as the Federation line.

2. Any views on the end year of the storyline? I had a few years of the storyline written, beginning the year before TNG begins. I was planning on going until about Star Trek Nemesis or a little after.

Keep in mind, the more there is to do, the more time it'll take... so long as the graphics get going too

OK after going over what I've done so far, the storylines I will complete (for the foreseeable future) are:

1. The primary Federation storyline, beginning about the same time as TNG and ending around Nemesis (this may change, but thats what I'm shooting for).
1a. The Maquis storyline, beginning about halfway through the Federation line and ending basically with the Dominion War. (The Maquis storyline is exclusive with the Federation line- its one or the other per character).
2. Cardassian storyline, running (tentatively) the same time as the Federation line.
3. A Romulan line that would definitely mirror the Federation storyline. I was going to do Klingon instead, but I think there are a lot more possibilities with the Romulan line.

The two non-Fed lines will be less involved. There just isn't as much material to go off of.

It would be interesting, but it would take a while, to do an entire storyline where you're a crewmember aboard Voyager. You could help the ship get back to the Alpha Quadrant, partake in all the missions, etc.
The hardest part about that would be the sheer size of the map you'd have to create to accommodate the Delta Quadrant. Otherwise it'd just be, "Set a course for Earth and hold the J key"

Anyways, JCC, you might remember 'Yoda', that was me. I've got about as much experience with 3D graphics as a hedgehog, but I could write, do picture graphics, planets. Just shoot me a PM with what you need help with in those categories.

Ummm... reload and change course? Or attack a Malon freighter and steal it's deuterium.

Boarding Malon freighters is suicide due to the toxic nature of the radiation, you are now drifting through the void in an escape pod. You realize that out here where nothing exists, you will experience a long slow death as you run out of oxygen.
