well I'm just saying, light doesn't generally emanate from below, which is what produces a shadow... that's why above shadows always seem counter-intuitive to me.

yeah ok, well the normal gradient is also from underneith, as you say, but i reversed it, i liked this better

Any chance you can make some "text" ranks that match these? As in "Administrator", "Global Moderator", "Supporter", etc? I made some, but I think you could do better.
