How to disable smiley image on STG-mobile style?

Hi, I'm new here as I'm new to phpBB too. I'm working on my local forum in my town. I have downloaded mobile style from this site and got it working very good, thanks for this. But, as you might know that this style still load images from smiley code.
I have prosilver as default style for desktop viewing. What I would like to know, is there any way to disable image replacement for smiley code only on the mobile style? I really want to cut down the cost for GPRS. Thanks in advance
