Edit: I've gone through and reinstalled this.. now the following problem has been fixed.

Sorry if this has been dealt with, I can't recall if this issue was brought up when I flipped through the previous posts.
Users with IE have been having trouble getting the menu to stay open for selection. Is there a setting or additional to make this manageable for them?

I'm using IE 8 and getting the problem on my site but not on this site.

Hey,

Is anyone able to show me how do add a mouse over menu just like this onto the navigation bar without the images and so all the text looks the same?

I have played around with it but I still have not got it working properly

This is using text not images. Just follow the directions in the first post and change the CSS to your preference and you're set.

I have not used this or installed it to check it out... but...

Isn't there a background image in this like in Glacier?
And the hover shows a different background image and text color like in Glacier?

If so... just remove the background images from the stylesheet Jamie.
And change the text colors so they are the same color even when you hover.
Maybe these guys that have installed this can verify this.

You can remove the background images. That's controlled through the CSS. In one of my styles I just commented out all references to the background images. Make sure you don't remove the bullet images unless you do some different formatting for them.

Is anyone able to give me some help with this, I aint got much to do to get it just right.

All it needs if the font color changed on a few items and the block to go on the navigation bar so its just the text.
Its things i have tried for the past few hours to no avail.

@ Jamie.... 4 posts were made after your first question 6 posts up.
Those 4 posts are all answers and suggestions to your question.

What more do you need to know? Edit your stylesheet for this...
didn't you have to add some CSS for this mod?

Everything is in place and working.

I just need help with with title of the drop down menu to be text without the block.
The sub menu title also needs the font color changing and I'm having issues with this as I cannot find the right line to edit the title colors and to not use a block for the text on the navigation bar.

Maybe an image to show you?

in my Prospace style(free and you don't even have to register), i already have the nav menu done. the menu.html and the menu.css files are already separated from the rest of the template and theme files. all the correct <!-- IF --> statements are in place for the different pages. you only need to adjust the colours. if you need help with that, i could help as i'm only familiar with the menu system that i have in my styles. also, if you look at my template files for that style, they already have all the nav and control panel links removed that the menu replaces. it's also prosilver based so the templates should be able to just replace the others(but check first).

anyway, that's what i can offer ;)
