[MODDB] ACP Add User MOD 1.0.0

I hope this is the right place to find my answer...if not, could you please tell me where I need to go?

I tried installing the mod (I'm a newbie), and couldn't figure out the automatic way, so I just put the files where the instructions said to put them.

I was unable to find the file in my administration panel. The following are the steps that I followed:

"Navigate to:
Administration Control Panel > System > Module Management :: Administration Control Panel > Users > Groups > Users
Select ?Add User Account? from the Module drop-down menu and click ?Go?.
Then click ?Enable? on the Module.
Browse to ACP > Users & Groups > Add Users and confirm install!"

I got to Module Management Administration Control Panel, but I didn't see users. There was Users and Groups.

I went there and then "Select Module," but didn't see "Add User Account."

What am I doing wrong?

I have just found and installed this mod to my forum thinking it would be the answer to my prayers. I have a mafia gaming site where we sometimes have game hosts that want the players to have alternate personalities. So, I am wondering if there is a way to disable the need to enter an email address, send an email and also allow me to just add a password at the time I create the accounts?

Disabling board email is not an answer/option.

I just need a way to create 30 dummy accounts without having to enter fake email addresses.... and to add the password myself at time that I create the account.

In the first post here, it states that the ability to enter the password at time of creation was going to be added. How about not sending the email?

There is a setting in the ACP under the User registration settings where you can select Allow e-mail address re-use: yes
Set this during the creation of the 30 users you want and when you're finished, set it back to: no
Make all these user's e-mail address your e-mail address. Only you will be managing these, right?

Hi,

I needed something like this and found it on phpbb.com. I did it by hand and it did not show the add-user, so I restored and did it via Xmod. Still nothing - and the topic was locked. As I know "Highway of Life" as a reliable guy on the PHPBB forum I came over here and downloaded the current version. Using Xmod I get the following:

Unexpected header, ending loop

I have successfully installed mods over the years but am at a loss with this one.

Forget it - way too late!

I used the STK instead. Had to hand email but that gave me the opportunity for specific mails.

I Still have this MOD Installed,But i havent used it too much.
I prefer to use the STK One....
